It contains a relatively large amount of caffeine (20mg per 100ml) and a low amount of sugar, reduces thirst, refreshes and stimulates the nervous system, and does not burden the heart.<\/p>\n<p>Club-Mate became popular on the Berlin club scene in the &#8217;90s as an alternative to unhealthy energy drinks.
