“Lost Weekend”<\/strong> is Phoebe Bridgers’<\/strong> first solo album since her critically acclaimed and multiple GRAMMY-nominated 2020 release, Punisher<\/em>. Her acclaimed debut, Stranger in the Alps<\/em>, released shortly after her 23rd birthday, showcased her exceptional songwriting talent. With Punisher<\/em>, she fulfilled that promise in spectacular fashion, earning widespread praise for its intelligent, emotionally resonant, and deeply compelling songwriting while cementing her place as one of the defining voices of her generation.<\/p>\n

With Lost Weekend<\/em>, however, Bridgers takes another significant step forward. The new album finds her at the peak of her artistic powers, refining the themes that have defined her work while expanding her sound in surprising new directions. The result is a record that feels both familiar and refreshingly adventurous.<\/p>\n

Before her recent series of pop-up shows, Bridgers last toured with her supergroup boygenius<\/strong>, formed alongside her close friends Lucy Dacus<\/strong> and Julien Baker<\/strong>. Their 2023 album the record<\/em> earned multiple GRAMMY Awards, including Best Alternative Music Album<\/strong>, while the single “Not Strong Enough”<\/strong> won Best Rock Song<\/strong> and Best Rock Performance<\/strong>. Bridgers herself left the ceremony as the night’s most awarded artist.<\/p>\n

She also picked up her fourth GRAMMY for Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance<\/strong> for “Ghost in the Machine”<\/strong>, her collaboration with SZA<\/strong> from the acclaimed album SOS<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Prior to that, Bridgers appeared as a special guest on selected dates of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour<\/em><\/strong>. Before joining Swift, she spent nearly two years on her own Reunion Tour<\/strong>, performing multiple sold-out North American legs, around thirty shows across Europe, and concluding with concerts in South America, Asia, and Australia.<\/p>\n

Beyond touring, Bridgers has continued to deliver some of the most celebrated live performances of recent years, including her acclaimed NPR Tiny Desk Concert<\/strong> and her memorable appearance on Saturday Night Live<\/strong>.
