We are dirty old EMPIRE, a brand established in 1995. in Požega. Dirty old EMPIRE consists of dirty old LABEL, MERCHANDISE, BOOKING, FESTIVAL & SHOP.
Dirty old LABEL is our record label that started as dirty old TOWN Records & Distribution in 1995. Our first release was DEBELI PRECJEDNIK s/t 7” EP that was published in 1996.
At the moment, we have a few different bands signed to our label, such as SHE LOVES PABLO, TYGER LAMB, MOSKAU, TROBECOVE KRUŠNE PEĆI,PINGVINOVO POTPALUBLJE, BRUJAČI, MAŠINKO, ANTENAT, FRANZ KAFKA ENSEMBLE etc. for which we published albums on vinyl and CD, but also manufactured a variety of merchandise.
Dirty old MERCHANDISE produces t-shirts, tote bags, badges, pendants and other merchandise for foreign and domestic bands, but also for different companies. We also sell merchandise for bands on different concerts and festivals all around Croatia.
Dirty old BOOKING started with booking it’s first concerts in Požega, and in 1996. we booked the first tour in Croatia for BOOT DOWN THE DOOR (Germany). At the moment, we are promoting and booking concerts in, and around Zagreb.
Dirty old FESTIVAL had it’s first edition in 2000. in Velika (near Požega). It lived to see 13 editions, and on the last one, in 2012. we had performances from big foreign and domestic bands: FRANK TURNER, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, STREET DOGS, BRKOVI, DJEČACI, DEBELI PRECJEDNIK…
Over the years, we had a lot of big foreign bands: AGAINST ME!, NOMEANSNO, FIGLI DI MADRE IGNOTA, MAD SIN, FUTURE ISLANDS, FIREWATER, THE TOASTERS, OBRINT PAS, STRUNG OUT, THE LOCOS, KARAMELO SANTO, LA PLEBE, GUNS OF BRIXTON, THE SKINTS…
But also big bands from and around Croatia: ATHEIST RAP, SIX PACK, DEBELI PRECJEDNIK, GUŽVA U 16ERCU, LET 3, HLADNO PIVO, GRUPA TVOG ŽIVOTA, EDO MAAJKA, KUD IDIJOTI, KAWASAKI 3P, PASI, DEAFNESS BY NOISE, BERNAYS PROPAGANDA, DUBIOZA KOLEKTIV, BAMBI MOLESTERS, PETAR PUNK, LOŠ PRIMJER, MAŠINKO, ANTENAT, RINGIŠPIL, RED UNION, IN-SANE, TBF, OVERFLOW…
Dirty old SHOP was opened in 2007., and our first address was Tratinska 33. A couple of years later we moved to a location on number 22, and then we moved to the number 18, which has been our home since 2012.
In our colorful and diverse store you can find concert tickets, new and second hand vinyl, CD’s, posters, comics, books, band and movie&comics t-shirts, figures and bobble-heads and accessories like mugs, pendants, metal pins, badges, bags etc.
We have all hard copy tickets for concerts in Zagreb, as well as all ticketing platforms: Entrio, Eventim, Ticketshop & Ulaznice.hr.
We are a proud distributor of CLUB-MATE, a caffeinated, carbonated beverage, made from Yerba Mate plant, which is a natural stimulant and antioxidant, and which became exremely popular on the berlin club scene in the ’90s.
